How do I contact you?

Call us on 0423 328 700, email info@eliixa.com.au or send us a message on Instagram at @eliixa_aesthetics.

Who is behind ELIIXA?

ELIIXA was founded by Mal, a cosmetic nurse with more than 15 years' experience, together with our co-founder Dee, a dermal clinician. Our wider team is made up of nurses, doctors and dermal clinicians.

Who will perform my treatment?

Our skin and laser treatments are performed by our nurses and dermal clinicians. Cosmetic aesthetic consultations are with one of our registered health practitioners.

Do you treat men?

Yes. Men are welcome across our laser hair removal, skin treatments and cosmetic aesthetics. Laser hair removal for men has its own price guide.

Is there a minimum age for treatment?

Some treatments may be suitable for clients under 18, where our practitioner considers the treatment appropriate and a parent or guardian gives consent. We may ask a parent or guardian to come to the consultation or appointment. Some cosmetic aesthetic treatments may not be available to clients under 18, even with a parent's consent. Please contact us before booking for anyone under 18.

Booking, payment and cancellations

How do I book?

Book online using the Book Now button on our website, call us on 0423 328 700, email info@eliixa.com.au or send us a message on Instagram.

Do I need to pay a deposit when I book?

Yes. When you book online, we take a 50% deposit to secure your appointment. For a consultation, it's 50% of the consultation fee, and for a treatment, it's 50% of the treatment price. Your deposit goes towards the cost of your appointment.

I'm a new client. Where do I start?

For skin treatments, we recommend starting with our 45 minute Advanced Skin Analysis. For laser hair removal, new clients start with a 30 minute consultation. For cosmetic aesthetics, every plan starts with a consultation.

Do consultations cost anything?

Yes. All our consultations have a fee, including the first skin consultation for new clients. Skin, laser hair removal and body consultations are $50, and the Advanced Skin Analysis (our 3D skin scan) is $75. When you book online, we take a 50% deposit. Fees for other consultations are shown when you book.

Can I buy a treatment online and book it later?

Yes. Many treatment pages have a "Buy now, book later" option. If you've bought a package, email us at info@eliixa.com.au and we'll help you book.

What happens if I'm running late?

We'll try to fit you in, but your treatment may need to be shortened or rescheduled so the next client isn't kept waiting. We suggest arriving 10 to 15 minutes early.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or change an appointment. If you don't come to your appointment, your deposit is forfeited. We look at late cancellations and late arrivals case by case, because we know emergencies happen. Our Terms and Conditions have the full policy.

Do you give refunds?

We don't give refunds for a change of mind, and prepaid treatments and packages can't be transferred to another person unless we approve it. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.

How can I pay?

In the clinic we accept cash, EFTPOS, PayID, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal, and we don't add a card surcharge. Online, you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay. We don't accept American Express, in the clinic or online.

Do you offer Afterpay, Zip or PayPal?

Yes. Afterpay and Zip are both available, and PayPal is available for payments in the clinic. Online, Afterpay lets you pay in 4 interest free instalments on eligible orders.

Do you sell gift cards, and how do I use one?

Yes. You can buy one online from the Gift Cards link at the top of our website. Gift cards are valid for the period shown when you buy them, and can be used on our products and treatments, except in-clinic promotions. To use one, call us on 0423 328 700 to book and bring it to your appointment. Gift cards can't be exchanged for cash.

Do you run special offers?

From time to time. Check the Promotions page on our website, or join our email list at the bottom of any page. Each offer has its own conditions, and offers can't usually be combined with another offer.

Before and after your visit

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring your gift card if you're using one. It also helps us to know which skincare products and active ingredients you're using now, so we can look at your current routine and make recommendations for your skin and the treatment you're having. Please tell us about any medicines, allergies or skin conditions too.

How should I prepare for a treatment?

Avoid too much sun or heat in the days before your appointment, and follow any preparation steps we give you when you book. Each treatment has its own preparation, which we will explain to you.

What aftercare will I need?

Keep the treated area clean and protected, use a high SPF sunscreen every day, and avoid harsh or active skincare until we tell you it's fine to start again. We'll give you aftercare advice for your specific treatment.

Is there downtime after skin treatments?

It depends on the treatment. HydraFacial and LED usually involve little downtime, while skin needling may need a few days to settle. We'll explain what to expect before you book.

Can I have treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We don't offer laser hair removal during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Not every treatment is suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so please contact us before you book and we'll check whether the treatment you're interested in is suitable for you. We also suggest checking with your own doctor.

Skin consultation and analysis

What is the Advanced Skin Analysis?

It's a 45 minute appointment where we look closely at your skin using our skin analyser, then talk you through what we found. You leave with a personalised treatment plan, including a skincare routine and product suggestions chosen for your skin and your budget.

What does the skin analyser look at?

It uses visible light, polarised light and UV imaging to look at your skin's surface and deeper layers. It checks texture, hydration, pigmentation, sun damage, blocked pores, fine lines, firmness and redness.

Can the $75 Skin Analysis fee be put towards a treatment?

Yes. The full $75 can be used on eligible skin treatments and products within three months. It can't be used on cosmetic aesthetics, facial packages or treatments that are already discounted.

Who does the Skin Analysis?

Our nurses and dermal clinicians.

Laser hair removal

How does laser hair removal work?

The laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle to reduce regrowth. Because hair grows in cycles, a course of treatments is usually needed.

Is laser hair removal permanent?

Laser hair removal gives long-lasting hair reduction, not permanent removal. You can expect a gradual decrease in the amount and thickness of hair over a course of treatments, and some people need occasional maintenance sessions. Results vary from person to person.

How many sessions will I need, and how long does each one take?

It depends on you and the area being treated. As a guide, a Brazilian takes about 15 minutes and a full body session about 1.5 hours. The number of sessions you need depends on the area, your hair growth and how your hair responds, and treatments are usually spaced a few weeks apart. We'll recommend a plan for you at your consultation.

Does it hurt?

Most people describe it as a warm, tingling feeling, and the laser has cooling to help keep you comfortable. How it feels varies by area and person, and we'll talk you through what to expect first.

Is laser suitable for my skin type and hair colour?

Our laser can be used on all skin types, after an individual assessment and with settings chosen for you. Laser works by targeting the pigment in the hair, so it doesn't work well on grey, blonde, red or very light, fine hair, as there may not be enough pigment for the laser to target. We'll check your skin and hair at your consultation.

Which areas can you treat?

Most areas of the face and body, including the lip, chin, underarms, arms, legs, bikini area, back and chest. For men we also treat areas like the shoulders, neckline and beard shaping.

How much does laser hair removal cost?

From our price guide, single sessions for women start from $25 (lip or chin) and for men from $15 (mid brow). A full body session (unlimited areas) is $299. All prices are confirmed at your appointment, and course pricing (6 or 10 sessions) is discussed at your consultation. You can also buy single sessions or 6 and 10 session packs online, then book your appointments.

How do I prepare for laser hair removal?

For two weeks before, avoid the sun and tanning beds. For four weeks before, don't wax, pluck or use hair removal creams. Shave the area 24 hours before, and come with clean skin, with no lotion or deodorant on the area. Stop retinoid creams, glycolic acids and vitamin C products two days before your treatment. Tell us if you take any prescription medicines or have had cold sores, as we may need to adjust your plan.

What happens after a laser session?

Some redness and swelling is normal and usually settles within a few hours. A cool pack or aloe vera gel can help. Use SPF 30+ on treated areas, and avoid hot showers, saunas and hard exercise for 24 to 48 hours. Shaving between sessions is fine, but please don't wax or pluck.

What laser do you use?

We use a medical laser designed for hair reduction. Your clinician can tell you more about it at your consultation.

HydraFacial

What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin in three steps: cleanse and peel, extract and hydrate, then fuse and protect. It is suitable for all skin types.

Which HydraFacials do you offer, and how much do they cost?

We offer the Classic HydraFacial, HydraFacial Hydrate and Boost, HydraFacial Hydrate, Glow, Fire and Ice, and HydraFacial MD. HydraFacial treatments start from $250 and take 30 to 60 minutes. Prices are confirmed at your appointment.

Which HydraFacial is right for me?

Our dermal clinicians will recommend the right option for your skin and goals.

Is there downtime after a HydraFacial?

Most people go straight back to their day. Please avoid heat and sweaty workouts for 24 hours, and wait until the next day to wear makeup.

How often should I have a HydraFacial?

Many clients have one every four to six weeks. We'll suggest a timing that suits your skin type and concerns.

How do I prepare for a HydraFacial?

Avoid too much sun and tanning beds for a week before, and use SPF 30+ every day. Stop exfoliants two days before, and avoid peels or laser for two weeks before. Tell us if you've had cold sores or any other recent cosmetic treatment, so we can space your appointments correctly.

Can I have a HydraFacial while pregnant?

Please check with your own doctor first and let us know before you book.

Skin needling

What is Dermapen Skin Needling?

It's a micro-needling treatment, also called collagen induction therapy. Very fine needles make tiny controlled punctures in the skin, which starts the skin's natural healing response. It starts from $299 for 60 minutes, confirmed at your appointment. A skin consultation is needed before your first skin needling treatment.

What is Secret RF Skin Needling, and how is it different?

Secret RF Skin Needling combines micro-needling with radiofrequency (RF) energy delivered into the deeper layers of the skin, where it is designed to stimulate the skin's own collagen production. Clients often choose it when they're concerned about skin texture, firmness and overall skin quality. It starts from $649 for 60 minutes, confirmed at your appointment.

What can skin needling help with?

Clients often choose skin needling for concerns about skin texture, the look of scarring, fine lines and pores. Your clinician will tell you at your consultation whether it suits your skin.

Does skin needling hurt?

We apply a numbing cream before Dermapen treatment to reduce discomfort, and we have a stronger numbing option for sensitive skin.

What is the recovery like after skin needling?

Expect redness and some bruising for 3 to 5 days, and your skin may peel (please don't pick it). Avoid the sun for two weeks, avoid exfoliating products for five days, avoid hard exercise for seven days, and put nothing on your face for up to 12 hours unless we tell you otherwise.

Peels and LED

What clinical skin peels do you offer?

We offer BioRePeel, Crystal Peel, Milk Peel and Mela Peel. A peel uses a solution matched to your skin to lift dead skin cells from the outer layer, and takes 30 to 45 minutes. You can add a peel to another treatment, such as Secret RF Skin Needling, for $150. Standalone peels are priced by peel, from around $299. Prices are confirmed at your appointment.

Is there downtime after a peel?

Some slight redness is normal, and how long it lasts depends on how deep the peel is. Use a high SPF sunscreen every day and avoid exfoliating products for at least five days.

What is a Carbon Laser Peel?

A carbon cream is applied to the face, then a laser is passed over the skin to exfoliate it. It takes about 30 minutes and starts from $299, confirmed at your appointment.

What is LED Light Therapy?

LED is a non-invasive light treatment using blue and yellow light, chosen to suit your skin. It is generally well tolerated and needs no special preparation. You can add LED to another treatment for $39, or book our standalone LED treatment for $99, which is a complete facial that includes LED.

Q-Switch Laser Collagen Stimulation

What is Q-Switch Laser Collagen Stimulation?

It's a non-invasive laser treatment that sends short light pulses into the skin to support collagen. Clients often choose it when they're concerned about the look of pigmentation, sun damage, age spots, skin tone and texture.

How much does Q-Switch cost and how long does it take?

It starts from $229 for a full face, with face and neck, and face, neck and décolletage options too. Prices are confirmed at your appointment. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes.

How do I prepare for Q-Switch?

Avoid the sun and tanning products for 2 to 4 weeks, and don't pluck, wax or bleach facial hair for two weeks before. Some prescription acne and skin medicines need to be stopped six months before treatment, so tell us about everything you use. Please reschedule if you have any open wounds.

Is there downtime after Q-Switch, and what aftercare do I need?

Downtime is usually minimal. Some slight redness is normal; please contact us if it lasts longer than seven days. We'll recommend products to use afterwards. Avoid touching the treated area, and pat your skin dry after showering rather than rubbing.

Cosmetic aesthetics

Do you offer cosmetic aesthetic consultations?

Yes. Every cosmetic aesthetic treatment at ELIIXA starts with a consultation. One of our registered health practitioners will assess whether a treatment is appropriate for you, explain your options and answer your questions.

Why don't you show prices or product names for cosmetic aesthetic treatments online?

Many of these treatments are prescription-only. In line with advertising rules, we don't promote them, their product names or their prices online. We'll discuss your options and costs at your consultation.
