About this treatment
How it works
Also known as micro collagen induction therapy, skin needling uses controlled micro-needles to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin. This prompts the skin's natural wound-healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin for overall rejuvenation. A topical anaesthetic is applied beforehand to minimise discomfort, and numbing cream is available for more sensitive skin. A complimentary skin consultation is required before treatment.

Before your treatment
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning products for 2–4 weeks before treatment
- Do not pluck, wax or bleach for at least two weeks before treatment
- Maintain a good skincare routine — ask us for advice on products
- Exfoliate your skin 2–3 days before your treatment
- Avoid makeup for 24 hours before your treatment
After your treatment
- Expect redness and slight bruising for 3–5 days after treatment
- Avoid the sun for at least two weeks, then use a high-SPF sunscreen daily
- Your skin may peel — do not pick or pull at it
- Avoid exfoliating products for at least five days
- Avoid intense exercise for seven days, as sweat can cause irritation
- Avoid water, heat or products on the area for up to 12 hours, unless we advise otherwise
