Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

Welcome to ELIIXA.

These Terms and Conditions apply to appointments, consultations, treatments, products, packages, gift cards, promotions and other services provided by ELIIXA, as well as your use of our website.

By booking an appointment, purchasing a treatment, package, product or gift card, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. About ELIIXA

ELIIXA is a skin, laser and cosmetic aesthetics clinic located in Victoria, Australia.

We provide a range of skin, laser, cosmetic and aesthetic treatments. Certain services may only be provided following consultation and assessment by an appropriately qualified practitioner.

All treatments are subject to individual suitability, clinical assessment where applicable, informed consent and practitioner discretion.

2. Appointments and Bookings

Appointments may be made online, by telephone, in person or through another booking method offered by ELIIXA.

Clients are responsible for ensuring their contact details are accurate when making a booking.

Appointment confirmations and reminders may be sent by SMS, email or another electronic method. Appointment reminders are provided as a courtesy. Failure to receive a reminder does not remove the client's responsibility to attend, cancel or reschedule their appointment within the required notice period.

ELIIXA may require a booking deposit or payment details to secure an appointment.

3. Consultations

Some treatments require a consultation before treatment can proceed.

A consultation does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be suitable or performed.

Our practitioners may recommend an alternative treatment, delay treatment or decline to provide treatment where they reasonably believe that doing so is in the client's best interests or is necessary for safety, clinical, ethical or regulatory reasons.

Where a complimentary consultation is offered, failure to attend or cancellation within the applicable cancellation period may result in a consultation or cancellation fee being charged.

4. Booking Deposits

ELIIXA may require a deposit to secure an appointment.

Unless otherwise advised at the time of booking, deposits are applied toward the cost of the booked treatment.

Where adequate notice is provided to reschedule an appointment, ELIIXA may transfer the deposit to the rescheduled appointment.

Where insufficient notice is provided, or a client fails to attend an appointment, the deposit may be forfeited in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Nothing in this section affects any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

ELIIXA requires a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • retain or apply the booking deposit
  • charge the applicable cancellation fee
  • deduct a treatment from a prepaid treatment package where applicable
  • require payment of an outstanding cancellation fee before accepting future bookings.

Failure to attend an appointment without providing notice may be treated as a no show.

Repeated cancellations, late cancellations or no shows may result in ELIIXA requiring full or partial prepayment before accepting future appointments.

ELIIXA may exercise reasonable discretion in exceptional circumstances.

6. Late Arrivals

We ask clients to arrive on time for their appointments.

If you arrive late, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you. However, your treatment may need to be shortened, modified or rescheduled to avoid affecting subsequent appointments.

Where there is insufficient time to safely or appropriately perform the treatment, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable cancellation policy may apply.

7. Treatment Suitability

Not every treatment is suitable for every person.

Before providing treatment, ELIIXA or the treating practitioner may assess factors including your medical history, medications, allergies, skin condition, treatment history, pregnancy or breastfeeding status where relevant, recent procedures and any other factors relevant to the proposed treatment.

ELIIXA and its practitioners reserve the right to postpone, modify or decline a treatment where it is considered clinically inappropriate, unsafe or otherwise unsuitable.

The safety and wellbeing of our clients takes priority over proceeding with a requested treatment.

8. Client Health Information and Disclosure

Clients must provide complete, accurate and current information relevant to their treatment.

You must inform your practitioner of relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant, recent illness, infections, skin conditions, previous cosmetic procedures and any other information that may affect treatment suitability or safety.

You must also advise ELIIXA if this information changes between appointments.

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment safety, suitability and results.

9. Informed Consent

Certain treatments require informed consent before treatment can proceed.

Before providing treatment, ELIIXA may provide information regarding the nature of the treatment, expected benefits, reasonably foreseeable risks and side effects, alternatives where appropriate and relevant aftercare requirements.

Clients are encouraged to ask questions before proceeding.

Consent may be withdrawn before treatment. Where treatment has already commenced, the practitioner will determine the safest appropriate course of action.

Treatment specific consent forms may apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

10. Skin, Laser and Energy Based Treatments

Skin, laser, IPL, radiofrequency, microneedling and other energy based or skin treatments may produce temporary or, in uncommon circumstances, longer lasting reactions.

Depending on the treatment and individual client, these may include redness, swelling, sensitivity, bruising, dryness, peeling, temporary pigment changes, breakouts or other reactions discussed during consultation.

Certain treatments may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired outcome.

Clients must follow all treatment specific preparation and aftercare instructions provided by ELIIXA.

Where clinically appropriate, ELIIXA may require a patch test, test spot or preliminary assessment before proceeding with a laser, IPL or other treatment. A treatment may be postponed where required preparation has not been followed, including requirements relating to sun exposure, fake tan, shaving, skincare or other treatment specific instructions.

11. Cosmetic Aesthetics

Certain cosmetic aesthetic treatments may constitute regulated health services and may only be provided following appropriate consultation, assessment and informed consent.

Treatment will only proceed where the treating practitioner considers it appropriate and within their professional scope of practice.

A practitioner may decline, postpone or modify a requested treatment where they consider this necessary for clinical, ethical, professional or regulatory reasons.

Where prescription medicines are involved, prescribing and treatment decisions are made by appropriately authorised health practitioners in accordance with applicable Australian laws and professional requirements.

ELIIXA does not guarantee that a requested cosmetic treatment will be prescribed, recommended or performed.

12. Treatment Results

Individual treatment results vary. No particular result can be guaranteed.

Results may be affected by factors including age, skin type, skin condition, medical history, lifestyle, medications, sun exposure, hormonal factors, treatment history, the number and frequency of treatments and compliance with recommended pre care, aftercare and home care.

Before and after photographs, examples or treatment information provided by ELIIXA are for general information and education and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another client will achieve the same result.

13. Risks, Side Effects and Complications

All cosmetic, skin, laser and aesthetic treatments involve some degree of risk.

Expected reactions, potential side effects and material risks relevant to your treatment will be discussed where appropriate.

The occurrence of a recognised or disclosed side effect does not necessarily indicate that a treatment was performed incorrectly.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies available to you under Australian Consumer Law.

14. Pre Care and Aftercare

Clients are responsible for following all pre treatment and post treatment instructions provided by ELIIXA.

These instructions may include avoiding certain skincare products, treatments, medications where medically appropriate, sun exposure, tanning, exercise, heat exposure or other activities for a specified period.

Failure to follow recommended instructions may increase the likelihood of an adverse reaction, affect treatment suitability or impact results.

Clients should contact ELIIXA if they are unsure about any instructions provided.

15. Post Treatment Concerns, Reviews and Touch Ups

If you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns following treatment, please contact ELIIXA as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, ELIIXA may request photographs, further information or arrange a review appointment so that your concern can be assessed.

Any complimentary review, adjustment or touch up is subject to clinical assessment and practitioner discretion. It is not an automatic entitlement and does not guarantee that further treatment will be provided.

Where ELIIXA specifies a review period for a particular treatment, clients should contact the clinic and attend within that period where reasonably possible. Reviews requested outside the recommended timeframe may require a new consultation and may attract an additional fee.

Clients should not attempt to independently treat a significant reaction without appropriate advice. Where urgent medical attention is required, clients should seek immediate medical assistance.

16. Prepaid Treatments and Packages

All prepaid treatment packages are subject to the following validity periods unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase:

Laser treatment packages: 12 months from the date of purchase.

Skin treatment packages: 6 months from the date of purchase.

All treatments within a package must be used within the applicable validity period. Clients are responsible for booking appointments with sufficient time to complete their treatment program before the expiry date. Appointment availability close to an expiry date does not automatically entitle a client to an extension.

Treatment plans are based on the client's presentation and suitability at the time of assessment. Individual responses to treatment vary and ELIIXA may alter the recommended treatment frequency, treatment settings, treatment area or treatment plan where clinically appropriate.

In some circumstances, particularly with laser treatments, a client may respond to treatment sooner or differently than anticipated. Where continuing the original treatment schedule is no longer clinically appropriate, ELIIXA may recommend that treatment be delayed, modified or substituted with another suitable treatment.

Any change, substitution, extension or adjustment to a prepaid package is at ELIIXA's discretion and will be considered having regard to treatment response, clinical suitability and the circumstances of the individual client. This does not entitle a client to exchange treatments solely because of a change of mind.

Where a diagnosed medical condition, medication, pregnancy or another relevant medical circumstance temporarily prevents a client from safely continuing treatment, ELIIXA may consider extending the package expiry date. Supporting medical information may be requested where reasonably required.

Extensions are not automatically granted and are assessed individually.

Packages are intended solely for the client for whom they were purchased and cannot be transferred, shared, exchanged, sold or assigned to another person unless expressly approved by ELIIXA.

Treatments, treatment areas or services included in a package cannot be divided, substituted or exchanged unless ELIIXA determines that a change is clinically appropriate or otherwise approves the change in writing.

Where a package has been designed to include treatments performed together or within a particular treatment schedule, the individual components cannot be separated into different appointments unless approved by ELIIXA.

Failure to attend a booked package appointment, or cancellation or rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice, may result in the relevant treatment being deducted from the package in accordance with ELIIXA's cancellation policy.

Where a client becomes permanently medically unsuitable for the purchased treatment, or ELIIXA permanently discontinues a prepaid service, the circumstances will be assessed individually and an appropriate remedy will be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Expiry dates, treatment recommendations and package conditions do not override any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

17. Gift Cards and Vouchers

Gift cards and vouchers are subject to the expiry period displayed at the time of purchase and any minimum expiry period required by Australian law.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Lost or stolen gift cards may only be replaced where ELIIXA can reasonably verify the original purchase and remaining balance.

Gift cards may not be resold or used for unauthorised commercial purposes.

Certain treatments remain subject to consultation, age requirements and treatment suitability regardless of whether payment is made using a gift card.

18. Promotions and Special Offers

Promotional offers are subject to the conditions advertised with the promotion.

  • cannot be combined with another offer unless stated otherwise
  • cannot be retrospectively applied to previous purchases
  • are available during the advertised promotional period
  • may be subject to appointment availability
  • may exclude particular treatments, practitioners or products.

ELIIXA reserves the right to correct genuine errors in promotional material and to withdraw or amend promotions where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable consumer law.

19. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Prices may change from time to time.

The price applicable to a booking or purchase will generally be the price communicated or displayed when the booking or purchase is confirmed, subject to correction of genuine errors and applicable law.

Payment is required at the time specified by ELIIXA. Clients are responsible for paying outstanding balances associated with their treatment or purchase.

20. Third Party Payment Providers

Where ELIIXA makes a third party payment or buy now pay later service available, such as Afterpay or another provider, the client may also be subject to that provider's separate terms, eligibility requirements, fees and payment arrangements.

ELIIXA is not responsible for the independent acts or systems of a third party payment provider, except to the extent required by law.

A client's rights against ELIIXA under the Australian Consumer Law are not removed merely because a third party payment method was used.

21. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

ELIIXA does not generally provide refunds simply because a client changes their mind about a treatment, package or product.

However, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, repeat service, cancellation or another remedy where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or any other statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any request for a refund or remedy will be assessed having regard to the circumstances and applicable law.

22. Products

Clients should follow the directions supplied with skincare and other products purchased from ELIIXA.

If you experience irritation or another unexpected reaction, discontinue use where appropriate and contact ELIIXA or seek medical advice if required.

Change of mind returns are not generally available for opened or used skincare, cosmetic or personal care products unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products will be dealt with in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

23. Clinical Photography

ELIIXA may recommend or require photographs as part of clinical documentation, treatment planning, assessment or monitoring treatment progress.

Clinical photographs form part of the client's confidential clinical information and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

Clinical photography does not automatically give ELIIXA permission to use photographs for marketing or promotional purposes.

24. Marketing Photography and Content

ELIIXA will seek appropriate consent before using identifiable client photographs, videos or other client content for advertising, marketing, social media or promotional purposes.

Where consent is optional, refusing marketing consent will not affect your access to appropriate treatment.

Any marketing use of clinical or treatment related material remains subject to applicable advertising, privacy and health practitioner requirements.

25. Privacy and Personal Information

ELIIXA collects personal and, where relevant, health information for purposes including providing services, assessing treatment suitability, maintaining records, processing payments, communicating with clients and meeting legal and professional obligations.

Information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and ELIIXA's Privacy Policy.

By providing your contact information, you consent to receiving communications reasonably necessary for appointments and your care.

Marketing communications will be managed separately in accordance with applicable law, and clients may unsubscribe from marketing communications.

26. Minors

Age restrictions may apply to particular treatments.

ELIIXA may require a parent or legal guardian to provide consent or attend a consultation or appointment where a client is under 18.

Certain cosmetic or aesthetic treatments may not be available to clients under 18 regardless of parental consent.

ELIIXA and its practitioners retain discretion to decline treatment where they consider it inappropriate having regard to the client's age, circumstances, applicable law and professional obligations.

27. Children and Additional Guests

For safety, privacy and treatment quality, ELIIXA may restrict children or additional guests from entering treatment rooms.

This is particularly important where lasers, clinical equipment, sharps or other potentially hazardous equipment are being used.

Where possible, clients should arrange appropriate childcare before attending appointments.

Support persons may be permitted where appropriate and where this does not compromise safety, privacy or the provision of treatment.

28. Client Conduct and Right to Refuse Service

ELIIXA is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, aggressive or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.

ELIIXA may refuse, discontinue or restrict non emergency services where a client behaves inappropriately, poses a safety risk, repeatedly breaches clinic policies or fails to meet payment obligations, subject to any applicable professional and legal obligations.

29. Vouchers, Credits and Unauthorised Transfers

Vouchers, credits and treatment packages may only be used in accordance with their applicable terms.

Unless expressly approved by ELIIXA, they must not be transferred, shared, sold or commercially traded.

Where ELIIXA reasonably determines that a voucher, credit or package has been transferred, shared, altered or used contrary to these Terms, ELIIXA may suspend or cancel the relevant voucher, credit or package, subject to applicable law.

30. Website Information

ELIIXA is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of independent third party services except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

33. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ELIIXA is not responsible for loss arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from a client's failure to provide accurate relevant information or follow reasonable treatment instructions.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

34. Appointment Changes by ELIIXA

Occasionally ELIIXA may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment because of practitioner illness, equipment issues, emergencies or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and arrange an alternative appointment.

Where ELIIXA cannot provide a prepaid service, any applicable refund, credit or alternative arrangement will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
